Professional Bio

Software development is a profession in which you can create things from zero using zero resources. All you need to build something like Facebook or Instagram is a computer, and the possibilities are unlimited. As a developer, I can do my work from any place in the world. I love working on the front end, and I recently learned Flutter, an awesome and beautiful language that helps to develop for both iOS and Android simultaneously. I'm persistent, disciplined, and goal-oriented, and outside work I enjoy running, learning new things, watching TV, and reading thriller novels.

Globant is a software consultancy. As a Web UI Developer, I worked on:

  • A survey app for Deloitte, one of the Big Four accounting firms. The survey was used by the company to select company directors. I developed new features and provided overall support to a team of about a dozen developers. It was built with Angular, .NET, and Azure.
  • PACE, an application for Ernst & Young for auditing and managing new clients and engagements that detects the risk of potential clients using several components. I worked as team lead and front-end developer and migrated an Angular.js application to Angular. It was also built with .NET.
  • A reporting hub for Ernst & Young that consolidates reports from other reporting components such as Power BI, SSRs, and Tableau. I created new features and provided overall support to the team. It was built with Angular 2+ and .NET.

INDER is a government agency that manages sports in Medellin, Colombia. As a Web Architect and Developer, I worked on:

  • The agency's official website. I worked as a full-stack web developer and worked with seven people to build the site using Drupal, PHP, Ubuntu Server, and Symfony.
  • SIMON, an information system to manage the core business of the agency where users can make reservations for sports, register for sports practice, and register for classes. I worked as tech lead and software architect and provided best practices to build the application and coordinate with the software consultancy company in charge of building the application. It was constructed using PHP, Symfony, Android development, and iOS development.
  • The agency intranet for internal communication. I worked as a full-stack PHP developer and along with seven other developers created the entire system from scratch. The intranet also uses Joomla.
