Professional Bio
As the web and technology spread throughout our lives, it became increasingly difficult to imagine a world without it. I became a web developer to be part of that world, and I'm rewarded every day with the knowledge needed to confront new challenges. I don't give up, either in my own work or for that of my clients, which have included companies in health care, fintech, e-commerce, and dating. I love JavaScript for its combination of intuitive syntax and near-universal applicability. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games as well as reading and watching television.

FullStack Labs Jun 2017 - Present
Senior Software Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer and mobile developer at FullStack Labs, I’m responsible for building new web and mobile apps from the ground up. Over my years with the company, my projects have included:
- Building the primary customer-facing mobile app for LuxerOne, a locker service for package delivery that lets users drop off and receive packages at locker stations around the country. The app, developed with React Native by myself and one other developer, allows users to track shipments and open bluetooth enabled lockers automatically, simply by approaching the locker. Launched in late 2019, the app has already managed over one million successful shipments / pickups, and currently has a 4.8 star rating in the app store.
- Rebuilding DropLocker, a cloud-based laundry and dry cleaning delivery service app. Along with one other engineer, we used React Native to create an app that allows users to schedule, manage, and pay for pickup and deliveries with local laundromats and dry cleaners.
- Building an app for the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), the leading advocate and lobbying organization for small-businesses in the United States. The app, built by a small team in React Native, keeps users informed on pertinent legislative actions, organizes the ways they can contact elected officials, shares relevant news, and lets users purchase tickets to NFIB sponsored events.
- Building Volly, a mortgage management program for banks. I used React to build a chat feature that allows loan applicants to speak with mortgage officers, and upload files related to their mortgage application.
- Creating an app for Healthbox, a health care consulting firm, that allows the company to collect information from health care employees. Using Ruby on Rails, I implemented single sign-on and created a streamlined, easy-to-use form for employees to enter responses.
EPK June 2015 - December 2015

Web Developer
Aetna is one of the world's largest health insurance providers. While a Web Developer at Aetna, I:
- Developed NeoNatal, an app that lets doctors communicate with parents when their children are in the NICU using text and video chat, and updates parents on the status of their children. The app was developed with Angular.js, Ionic and Cordova.
