Professional Bio

When I first got a computer, I learned everything I could and tried making simple viruses for fun. But over time, I realized I enjoyed building things more. I love watching projects come to life and seeing the ways that abstract concepts become solutions to real problems. My favorite technology to work with is JavaScript because of its explosive growth over the past few years and the community that goes with it. In my free time I enjoy going on walks.

Employment History

Littlefield Agency December 2013 - May 2020

Web Developer

The Littlefield Agency is a digital marketing agency. As a Web Developer, I worked on:

  • Developed a React application connecting to a Drupal CMS to manage a company website. Used a combination of Redux and Apollo/GraphQL for state management with Formik for submissions. Styles were custom implementation using LESS/CSS Modules.
  • Building a new website for Ditch Witch, a manufacturer of heavy machinery. I created the site with one partner and included a function for users to find local dealers. The site was built with Drupal, Less, Twig, PHP, JavaScript, and Brandify.
  • Refreshing the online presence for Sweet Adelines International, an organization of women singers based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In addition to a general overhaul, I integrated private-pages functionality into the site for organization members. I built the site in Drupal, Less, Twig, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • The app for ZapKapow Comics, which helps comic-book owners appraise and manage their collections. I single-handedly built the app using Node.js, Angular, MySQL, Pug, AWS Buckets, Redis, Less, Express, and Gulp.
  • Find Your Retirement, a portal maintained by Bok Financial Advisors to link people with retirement advisors. I created the site with one partner using Drupal, Less, PHP, and JavaScript.
