Professional Bio

I have always found the problem solving and creativity in programming to be immensely engaging. I was fortunate early in life to have access to a computer and an appetite to learn through the internet. It was later in life that I realized how fulfilling it can be to write code for companies and projects that have direct social or personal impact. The variety of challenges that I am faced with when developing offers me the opportunity to be constantly learning and trying new things. My favorite technologies to work with are Rust and Haskell. Both languages boast robust type safety, thorough static analysis, and modern functional paradigms. I'm opinionated, curious, and candid, and when I'm not working I enjoy hacking on Rust code and learning new technologies (WebGPU, most recently). For casual fun, I play backgammon and billiards.
