Senior Software Engineer

At FullStack Labs, I'm responsible for providing solutions for our clients' problems using JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and Node.js. I'm currently working on:

• Sellbrite, a tool for multichannel selling by GoDaddy, one of the world's largest domain registrars and hosting providers. Sellbrite helps merchants manage their product catalogs and inventories from a single location and sell to customers in multiple channels such as Ebay, Etsy, Amazon, Walmart, Facebook, and Instagram. I added new features and performed overall bug fixes and improvements for an app written in Ruby on Rails.

I previously worked on:

• Dash, an internal reporting dashboard that lets clients see hours billed, projects worked on, and other information pertaining to FullStack Labs projects. I automated the generation of projects within the dashboard using Ruby on Rails.
  

Michelada January 2017 - July 2020

Software Engineer

Michelada is a software consultancy headquartered in Colima, Mexico. As a Software Engineer, I worked on:

• Creditar.io, an enterprise application designed to help financial institutions manage their customers and loan portfolios more efficiently. I built a RESTful API from scratch using Rails and PostgreSQL. The app also uses JavaScript, Nginx, HTML, and CSS.
• Swivel Scheduler, an app that helps teachers manage their class schedules, as well as set and track goals with students. I led development of the app from scratch using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Nginx, PostgreSQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Shrink Space, a service that connects university students with mental health providers. I led the three-person development team, which built the software in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Nginx, PostgreSQL, HTML, and CSS.
• ModCloth, an e-commerce platform for selling clothes. I was in charge of implementing various features and squashing bugs. ModCloth utilizes Demandware, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  

Nearsoft January 2016 - January 2017

Software Engineer

Nearsoft is a near-shoring software consultancy based in San Jose, California. As a Software Engineer, I:

• Worked on OpenTable Gifts, an adjunct to OpenTable used to sell, exchange, and process restaurant gift cards. I maintained the legacy app, fixed bugs, and implemented new administrative reports. OpenTable Gifts was written in Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

MagmaLabs September 2015 - January 2016

Software Engineer

MagmaLabs is a software consultancy based in Colima, Mexico. As a Software Engineer, I:

• Built a developer portal for GoPro, the world's largest manufacturer of outdoor action cameras. The portal lets developers build apps for camera and was built to specification as set by GoPro. It was written in Ruby on Rails and Angular.
