Professional Bio

I have been passionate about computers and technology since I was a child, and I always had an urge to create. Since I'm not so skilled as a craftsman, I decided to create things using my brain instead. Today I get to solve problems using algorithms and make applications that people enjoy using. I'm currently creating a new solution for customers of GoDaddy to communicate with their contacts, and in the past have developed solutions for Davivienda, a large Colombian bank; and Movistar, one of the continent's major telecommunications providers. My favorite technology to work with is JavaScript for its power and flexibility. I'm focused, analytical, and hard-working, and I enjoy playing videogames and spending time with my girlfriend and dog.

  • Email Composer for GoDaddy, one of the world's largest domain registrars and hosting providers. The app allows customers to easily create and launch a customizable email marketing campaign for their website or store. My team of eight and I completed three sprints ahead of schedule and worked with React, TypeScript, SCSS, Jest, Babel, and Webpack.

Cloud Technical Leader

DaVinci Technologies provides solutions using the Google Cloud platform. As Cloud Technical Leader, I:

  • Lead development of MACI, an app that organizes the customer data of Davivienda, a Colombian bank. I operated as technical lead on a team of three and delivered a working model within three weeks using JavaScript, Angular.js, Node, and Google Cloud.
  • Built Comunidades de Soporte, Davivienda's knowledge base that allows users to search across both Firebase and Google Drive. I created a chat tool that provides a channel between every employee and any necessary experts. In addition to Google Cloud, the app was built with JavaScript, Angular.js, and Node.

Support Engineer

Movistar is the largest telecommunications provider in Spain and one of the largest in Latin America. As a Support Engineer, I:

  • Built the Telebucaramanga app, which allows Movistar's internet customers to access their accounts. I acted as technical lead on a team of four and developed the back end using a customizable system of APIs, delivering the final solution in less than three months. The app was built with Node, Android Native and Swift (for Android and iOS, respectively), and PHP.
