Professional Bio

When I was a child, my father bought our family our first computer. From the moment he turned it on I fell in love with technology and wanted to study everything I could about it. I love that I can create beautiful and helpful applications for people; one of my dreams is to create an app to help people in my hometown, because I live in a small city near farmers whose lives I'd like to improve with technology somehow. I'm a hard worker, team player, and fighter, and right now my favorite tool is Ruby on Rails. In my free time I like to play the piano, watch movies and films, read, play video games, and go on walks.

Employment History

FullStack Labs January 2021 - Present

Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at FullStack Labs, I’m responsible for creating apps with technologies like React and Ruby on Rails.

S-Fleet September 2016 - December 2020

Technical Leader / Rails Engineer

S-Fleet designs and develops fleet management applications. As a Technical Leader / Rails Engineer, I worked on:

  • An app for fleet maintenance that lets users manage the maintenance of all of their vehicles, from booking to follow-up. I integrated the maintenance workshops/agencies and clients in the same platform to facilitate repairing mechanical problems, managing maintenance schedules, and searching for workshops. The app was built with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, and AWS.
  • An app for information on vehicle fines in Mexico. I created the scraper to retrieve the data for vehicle fines. The app was written with Ruby on Rails, Nokogiri, and Mechanize.
  • An app for handling auto insurance for fleets. I created the blueprints and database relationships for the project and assisted other engineers on our five-person team. The app uses Ruby on Rails and React.
  • A platform that connects clients and fleet agencies across Mexico. The app also handles and processes documentation from vehicles. I led development of the project and analyzed it for conflicts with other modules. It uses Ruby on Rails and React.
