I've had a passion for computers since a young age. When I grew older and was deciding what I wanted to do with my life, becoming a developer felt like the most natural course. Devs have one of the coolest skill sets that I can think of — we can build anything imaginable just by typing on a keyboard. The way a product can grow from an idea into something that can impact the life of others is the best and most rewarding feeling this job can offer. I've developed apps that help GoDaddy users market their products and that connect Covid-19 researchers with one another to help solve the pandemic. My favorite technology is TypeScript; when I’m developing, it's nice to see every piece fall into his place, and TypeScript helps me see it a lot better. I love different storytelling mediums, and lately I've been enjoying tabletop RPGs and videogames, but I also spend plenty of time with television series, movies, anime, manga, and books.

I've never wanted to stop learning, and that's what I love about being a software developer: regularly picking up new technologies and keeping up with the latest trends is imperative. I've applied my expertise and also acquired new skills in order to build software for clients in fashion, fitness, and agriculture. I admire JavaScript for its near universal applicability and its functional paradigm. When I'm not learning new skills, I love to stay in shape and exercise.

As a Software Developer at FullStack Labs, I am very passionate about collaborating as a team player and building code that's high-quality, secure, and maintainable. I have more than four years of experience designing and implementing full-stack applications with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, MongoDB, and a variety of other tools. I've worked on applications ranging from food delivery platforms to interactive in-person simulations. Throughout this time, I've gained insight into the entire development process and the importance of team collaboration. I love to read historical fiction and spend time with my family watching movies.

I've always been interested in computers and how they work, from their high-level abstractions to the way energy moves throughout their components. Anyone who truly loves working with computers really has two choices: become a chip architect or a software developer. In choosing the latter, I get to help our clients solve complex challenges every day — and as CEO of FullStack Labs Colombia, I get to solve the challenges of our own. Primarily, I manage the company on a day to day basis, including hiring and HR, operations, legal and accounting, and employee management. I also often lead critical projects for key clients, and still regularly commit code when time allows, including for Ekso Bionics, a manufacturer of human exoskeletons; and EKA, one of the world's largest logistics management companies. I most enjoy working with Ruby on Rails — it's highly flexible and so easy to create an app that there's no need to resort to boilerplate code. When I'm not running our Colombian operation or building new software, I like to read, watch movies and sports, and enjoy a good beer.

I've always liked computers since I was very young, from setting up their configurations to installing and playing games to learning how their applications work. As a developer, I love that I can make an impact while working on complex problems. My favorite technology is JavaScript because you can develop a full application from web to mobile and use the same language for the front and back ends. I'm organized, creative, and confident, and in my free time, I enjoy playing table tennis.
