Professional Bio

Being a software developer lets me integrate my expertise into almost any field possible. There is always something new to learn! I'm a big fan of React and React Native for their ability to synchronize code bases between iOS, Android and the web while still shipping out production-ready apps. I've helped hospitals properly code their procedures, real estate investors identify new opportunities, and consumers find service providers across a variety of disciplines. When I'm not working, I love to longboard and hike.

Employment History

FullStack Labs Jan 2016 - Present
Mid-Level Software Engineer

At FullStack Labs, I'm responsible for creating complex applications for various industries using React, React Native, Ruby on Rails, and more. I'm currently working on:

  • Clik2Flip, a tool for real estate investors to quickly assess properties to determine their potential for flipping, renting, or utilizing as an Airbnb. I created both mobile apps for iOS and Android, as well as the web app. I extracted the logic out of the mobile application into a new Rails API, which resulted in faster bug fixing without the need to release new updates. The apps were built with React Native, Ruby on Rails, Amazon S3, and Firebase.
  • An app for Capital Rivers, a commercial real estate brokerage based in Sacramento, CA. The app analyzes commercial real estate markets and generates leads automatically. I was able to create a production-ready application in under three months within the client's budget, leaving room for many more features. The app utilizes React Native, Ruby on Rails, and AWS S3
  • The web app for The Coding Network, which ensures accurate service coding and billing for hospitals nationwide. Along with two other team members, I refactored and maintained the legacy web app, improved SQL queries used in financial reports, and implemented new features to automate the company's workflow. The app was built with Django, Python, AWS S3, AWS EB, AWS EC2, AWS Workspaces, Salesforce, and Quickbooks.

I previously worked on:

  • Yaya, an app that connects users to service providers. I improved and maintained the iOS and Android apps, as well as the Ruby on Rails API. I modernized the application by upgrading the outdated libraries and implemented new designs. The apps were built with React Native, Ruby on Rails, and Socket.io.
