React Native Developer Job Application Questions

Screening Questions

To help us quickly sift through hundreds of job applications, we recommend having candidates answer the following questions when they apply. These questions are designed to help you quickly qualify / disqualify candidates by determining if they meet your minium requirements or not. A lot of this information exists in the candidates resume and / or Linkedin profile, but that requires someone on your recruiting team sifting through all that data. Quickly scanning through answers to the following key questions is a more efficient and effective method:

  1. Are you legally authorized to work in the USA? (Please note, we do not (or we do) offer visa sponsorships at this time).
  2. What city are you located in?
  3. How many years of full time, paid software development experience do you have? (Please do not count internships, coding bootcamps, college, or non-development related work.)
  4. What's your preferred stack?
  5. Please provide a link to your LinkedIn profile.
  6. Please provide a link to your GitHub profile.
  7. What is your desired salary?
  8. The following questions all focus on technical skills. We like to ask for their level of experience across a broad spectrum of programming languages to help us understand their complete skill set, not just their React Native ability.
    1. Level of experience with the JS ecosystem and modern build tools?
    2. Level of experience with CSS?
    3. Level of experience with HTML?
    4. Level of experience with Ruby on Rails?
    5. Level of experience with React?
    6. Level of experience with React Native?
    7. Level of experience with Node.js?
    8. Level of experience with Ember.js?
    9. Level of experience with Angular.js?
    10. Level of experience with Angular 2+?
    11. Level of experience with Python?
    12. Level of experience with PHP?
    13. Level of experience with .Net?
    14. Level of experience with SWIFT?
    15. Level of experience with Android app development?
    16. Level of experience with Java?
    17. Level of experience with Scala?
    18. Level of experience with Vue.js?
    19. Level of experience with AI?
    20. Level of experience with GO?
    21. Level of experience with GITHUB?
  9. How did you hear about this position?
  10. Were you referred by a FullStack Labs employee?

Ideally the answers to these questions would automatically be fed into your applicant tracking system where you could quickly review the answers and qualify / disqualify candidates. We use Workable, but there are many others.

Once screening is complete, qualified candidates are moved forward to React Native Developer Interview #1.
